We are searching for all members who served with
the 588th including the periods from WWII through the
Vietnam and Gulf War periods to those serving in Iraq
today. Contact Bill Smith at

past or current members.

We are searching for the orders to establish the
588th's lineage from inception right up to today.
Anyone having such documents please contact Bill Molloy at
wmolloy@twcny.rr.com
so we can post them on our web site.

Following a records search by my congressman, it was
identified that the 588th received Valorous (5/30/70 -
01/31/71) and Meritorious (12/28/68 - 02/28/70) unit
commendations. If anyone has the orders going with
these recognitions, please forward them to Bill Molloy at
wmolloy@twcny.rr.com
so we can post them on our site.
4.
The legal efforts to create the 588th Maintenance Company
Association are now complete as an LLC. Many thanks to
Dave Mangrum for his efforts. The first Newsletter has
been published and posted. A copy of the letter can be
downloaded from the tab below.
5. Anyone wishing to join the association
may do so by filling in the application form attached to
the Newsletter. The dues are $20/year and are on a Jan to
Jan period. Please read the Full and Associate membership
information in the Newsletter. |
